The Broker Involvement Program (BIP) is open to broker-owners or managing brokers and functions as an extension of GAR’s grassroots network. It provides the broker with a quick and effective tool to rally agents by delivering a clear and united message to congressional leaders on important issues that affect the real estate industry. For questions concerning the BIP, contact Margaret Lacy at firstname.lastname@example.org or (770) 312-0646.
How the BIP works
Any time a Call-for-Action (CFA) is released, NAR will alert the broker via email. The CFA is then automatically delivered to the broker’s agents using the broker’s name and logo in the message. There is no added responsibility required on the broker’s part, other than initial enrollment to the program. Nothing needs to be downloaded and there is no cost to the broker. Upon enrolling in the program, the broker will be granted access to the broker portal, which provides message statistics and agent participation rates for CFAs.
Why is participation in the BIP important?
Involvement is important because online participation reports demonstrate that response rates on broker Calls-for-Action are significantly higher, guaranteeing proven results. Last year, nearly half of all CFA responses were from agents in the BIP. Simply put, agents are more inclined to participate in a CFA when the message is received from their broker.
Joining the BIP is fast and easy. Simply click here to complete and submit the required webform. The broker will then receive a confirmation email from NAR staff containing follow-up instructions.
